Job Description:
Mechanical or Electrical Building Design Engineer - Section Leader
Peoria, Bloomington or Champaign, IL
We have an immediate opening in one of our Central Illinois office locations for a Mechanical or Electrical Building Design Engineer - Section Leader. Qualified candidates will be responsible for marketing our Mechanical Design services and designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems as well as leading a group of 20-25 mechanical, plumbing, electrical and structural engineers and designers in a virtual office environment. This is a great opportunity for someone to lead a MEP section!
Specific Requirements include:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15-20 years of professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 plus years of proven management experience.
Registered Professional Engineer, currently registered or eligible to apply to be registered in MO and IL.
Proven capability to manage an annual revenue budget of $3-4 million in fees.
Ability to schedule work, assign manpower needs, QA/QC the work and successfully execute projects.
Excellent communications skills.
Familiarity with AutoCAD 2004
Diversified project type experience.
Ability to effectively manage Clientele.
Ability to effectively participate and lead marketing activities.
Strong Team Player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
