RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:1. Promotes quality and customer satisfaction as a way of life within the Department.3. Develops, introduces and continually fosters a continuous improvement process within the Business Unit and has excellent communication skills. 4. Presents and interfaces with large employee group meetings, visiting physicians or other visitors to the facility.5. Assures key performance indexes such as efficiency, yield, and productivity are achieved for the area of responsibility. 6. Assures Customer Service Level > 98%. 7. Drive Lean Implementations in manufacturing. 8. Drive linearity in manufacturing output (committed build plan).9. Establish key business initiatives (i.e. Six Sigma, Shared Leadership, Employee Involvement, etc.) and sponsor involvement, direction and accountability.10. Initiate partnerships between disciplines (i.e. engineering, materials management, quality, equipment engineering and new product development) in order to achieve unit’s t objectives. 11. Manage and drive DL incentive Program.12. Manage financial budgets and set aggressive department goals that support BSC’s current and future objectives.13. Ensure and champions department adherence to regulatory and GMP requirements. Ensures compliance to quality systems and partner with Quality function in setting direction for production.
