Assist in the identification and development of plant structure that will support business objectives.Participate with management team members in training efforts, succession planning and developmental opportunities of staff. Responsible for working through Human Resources for all employee related activities.Key Duties & Responsibilities Adheres to all safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job Responsible for Production and Scheduling functions and all associated personnel Responsible for Production Department and Scheduling Department operating budget.Manages and controls expenditures and variances Responsible for planning production operations by establishing priorities for manufacturing products Develops or revises standard operational and working practices ensure compliance with standards Ensures plant staff enforces company policies and procedures, plant wide safety rules and employee rules of conduct. Responsible for: developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; new product development and implementation; superior customer service; and on-time delivery.· Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
