As an Engagement Manager in the M&SC team, your primary responsibility will be to manage global teams in the design, execution, and delivery of research and analysis of assessments that address critical and strategic manufacturing and supply chain decisions, mainly in the chemicals, materials, and downstream manufacturing industries. Critical and confidential issues may include assessment of competitors' cost structure and analysis of clients' manufacturing operations and supply chain to identify areas of performance improvement. This position is based in our Little Falls, NJ, headquarters and is a fast-track opportunity for the successful candidate. Typical engagements may include competitive intelligence, technology assessment, manufacturing cost assessment, operations and supply chain assessment, and profitability analysis. Often the manufacturing and supply chain issues may be part of a larger global program of strategy development and implementation, opportunity identification and assessment, and due diligence. Day-to-day responsibility for the design and execution of proprietary consulting engagements includes: * Develop/refine scope of engagement, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables * Drive staff performance for successful completion of engagements * Guide the development of analysis, appraisal, and recommendations; oral presentations; and all supporting documentation * Serve as key client liaison throughout duration of assignment * Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and assisting in proposal development and internal planning activities * Conduct key primary interviews to obtain critical insights and information .
