Job Description:
The Dental Clinic Clinical Supervisor delegates, supervises and provides patient care, and provides for patient safety and quality. In addition, the Dental Clinic Clinical Supervisor assists the Program Manager in supervising clinical operations, dental clinic staff, planning, evaluating and controlling program services. The Dental Clinic Clinical Supervisor ensures that internal and external standards are met. Demonstrates competencies defined (*) in Dental Clinic Supervisor responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years, and select adult patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School graduate of an accredited dental assisting training program or the equivalent in applicable experience. Current license to practice dental radiography in the State of Ohio Minimum 3 years experience as a dental assistant in a pedodontic setting. Supervisory experience, and demonstrates knowledge of effective management. Demonstrates good communication skills and ability to relate effectively with patients and families. Demonstrates ability to treat and teach health to medically compromised patients. Demonstrates leadership ability and self-motivation.
