We have highly automated work processes that increase worker safety while maximizing quality and throughput. We are actively seeking a highly qualified and forward-thinking Production Manager to manage all manufacturing operations and production personnel. This position will collaborate closely with the CEO to develop new business. We need a strong leader who will develop and motivate a newly assembled production workforce and create efficient process flow. This is a key member of our management team and will be critical to our success. The successful candidate will posses: - Marine and/or engineering background Eight (8) or more years experience in heavy structural steel construction, or heavy steel manufacturing or shipyard construction Five (5) or more years of that in experienced in a management position A bachelors degree from a fully accredited college in a relevant field Exceptional communication skills (including written) Ship repair experience a plus U.S. Barge is located right in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Portland, Oregon.
