Planning Team to ensure that an updated capacity model is used for production planning. Interface with the Finished Product Test Lab to ensure product is acceptable prior to release to distribution.Drive Six-Sigma & Lean initiatives to maximize employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality and process efficiently.Mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve departmental goals and objectives. Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellence.May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.Nature and Scope Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive-levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
