Job Description:
You need a good overall background with all construction disciplines, but you will mostly be focused on the mechanical piping with some civil/paving construction areas. Your main responsibilities would include safety oversight, planning, coordination, verification and subcontract agreement administration for all mechanical construction areas on the project. Experience working on U.S. Armed Forces or government related projects (Navy, Airforce, government facilities, aircraft hangers, air traffic control towers, runways, etc...) would be ideal, but our client will still consider you if you have experience on power plant, refinery, or similar heavy construction projects. This is a 6 month contract position located in Kansas City, MO. Our client prefers candidates local to KC, but will consider all candidates that meet the skill set. Client will pay for mobilization, demobilization, 1 paid trip home every 3 weeks, & per diem. You need to be able to start by July 7th, 2008.
