The Vice President Covance Biomarker Group will be responsible for developing Covance s global biomarker strategy from the early development through clinical and commercialization stages of the drug development cycleCreating a team of scientific and operational professionals to deliver this strategy Leading the biomarker group, ensuring appropriate scientific expertise exists within the group to provide client and operational deliverables within timelines Building a scientific and commercial network throughout all Covance businesses to realize Covance s full biomarker potential Providing scientific consultation regarding biomarkers to our clients Representing Covance at scientific and industry events / conferences (e.g., advisory boards, presentations, publications) Helping to define and achieve commercial goals by building relationships and solutions with pharmaceutical and biotech customers globallyExperience Required:A minimum 10 years of scientific management experience in a laboratory environment performing highly complex testing (including leadership of other senior professionals and leaders)
