As the top finance person in the Foundation, the Director of Finance is responsible for accounting, audit, budgeting, banking, insurance, and financial planning. S/he will supervise an accounting Manager, an Accountant and the China Finance Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance executive with a proven track record of creative problem-solving to join in a high-growth, mission-driven organization. Responsibilities Finance 路 Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, audit and policy matters. 路 Ensure that policies and procedures are in place that support the organization and are in alignment with the Foundation抯 operating philosophy. 路 Oversee, direct and organize the work of the following positions: Accounting Manager, Accountant, China Finance Manager. 路 Work closely with grants department on financial issues. 路 Work proactively and effectively with Program Managers on tracking results in a meaningful way. 路 Ensure overhead costs do not exceed funder limits. 路 Perform analysis on cost/benefit efficiencies. 路 Plan, coordinate and execute the annual budget process. 路 Ensure that EF is adhering to the financial plan and deliver status reports to the COO. 路 Provide analytical support to EF抯 management team including development of internal management reporting capabilities. 路 Provide oversight in the annual budget process and help ensure a close integration between organizational plans and the budget. 路 Manage banking, insurance, audit, and other key third party relationships, such as vendor and grantee relationships.
