Job Description:

Develop, prepare and implement the global allocations and liquidations for all shared services with S&P Segment. Develop and maintain allocation models, analyze customer usage trends, staffing, and other key financial drivers. Monitor over/under on a periodic basis. Provide monthly Segment headcount allocation as support for benchmark analysis. Serve as the key financial resource for U.S. Segment Operations departments (excluding IT) for the Allocations Transparency Initiative (ATI). . Assist the Segment Operations Departments Managers in the management, coordination, and direction of the respective departments project management function with emphasis on establishing sound management practices and operating procedures. Create and present value-added analysis to enable better business decision-making. . Track and monitor headcount/positions on a continuous basis, approve new hires and work with HR to ensure compliance with all hiring approval policies. Partner with HR to administer the annual merit/incentive compensation awards. . Participate in quarterly internal control risk assessments including compliance with annual evidential matter requirements. Develop, review, and monitor policies and procedures for departmental functions. Ensure there are no significant weaknesses in internal controls by continuously reviewing with business partners corporate policy and procedures with respect to P-cards, T&E disbursements, capital purchases, authorized approvers and limits. Review, fixed assets ledgers and retire obsolete equipment. Ensure Intra-company and Intercompany transactions are eliminated. . Prepare and respond to requests for special projects and ad-hoc assignments as requested by management. Recurring projects include Hart-Scott Rodino filings, and SG&A vs Operating expense analysis, sensitivity analysis and contingency planning. . Monitor the overall business environment to detect and report on the impact of one units actions on the financial results of another unit and make recommendations on the finding as appropriate. Keep Finance team fully briefed on all significant Project issues. . Strong financial analytical skills with a solid background in the application of such skills in a global, matrixed environment.
