Job Description:

The IT Financial & Administrative Applications area is the channel that interacts with Corporate and Business Groups functional areas for Finance, Human Resources, Communications and Sales & Marketing capturing its requirements, understanding the business processes and information needs and develops and deploys information systems solutions that add value to the business by improving operational excellence, enhancing the decision support processes and improving collaboration tools. He/She is responsible for understanding and evaluating complex business functions and processes, information systems implementation methodologies, industry standards and best practices, automotive industry trends and emerging technologies, etc., and melding these to form a set of comprehensive and coherent plans to support and further the business in its endeavors. The major focus areas include: Alignment with requirements derived from the Business Strategy Review process developed by Business Groups/Units IT Strategic Planning Business Processes Management and optimization Master Data Management Principle Accountabilities: Works as internal consultant for information system based solutions to support Corporate and Business Groups functional areas for Finance. Evaluate current business processes and data and work with the functional areas on process redesign and data harmonization initiatives and develop transition plans to deploy these processes. Liaises with functional areas to understand current and emerging needs, requirements (Business & Functional) & business case scenarios. Develop "as is and "to be models and develop Statement of Work to support requests from functional areas and business units ensuring that standard approved solutions are deployed across business units and regions. Work with business functions to validate new business solutions and system enhancements to ensure satisfactory integration with legacy processes and ensure quality systems, audit trial and quality awards are not compromised. Develop high level project plan and manages projects for new applications and system enhancements, ensuring successful business process integration. Develop user training plan and acceptance test plan. Track business benefits achieved.
