Nortel G overnment Solutions has an immediate opening for a Project Manager located in various Northern VA, DC and MD sites with 7+ years of experience. ***Candidate MUST have a Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance with CI Poly*** Summary of duties and responsibilities: Evaluating project health by analyzing project schedules, dependencies, risks and financial data. Providing quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to organizational standards. Providing subject matter expertise on the Project Management Framework (PMF). Building detailed project plans,cost estimates, schedules, and WBS. Developing, analyzing and reporting programmatic and performance metrics. Defining (scope) and implementing project plans in accordance with the client's needs. Ensuring that project milestones, control gates and deliverables are met on time and within budget. Performing organizational wide integration planning, and ensuring that project team members are fully utilized.Briefings to customer and management boards on project status and progress will be required. This person must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
