Job Description:
Project Manager II who will provide the project and process expertise to manage portfolio projects to successful conclusions and milestones. Will be responsible for effectively communicating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project management of cross-functional teams to assess both the scientific and commercial potential of projects, and planning and execution of both short term and long term objectives. Collaborative partner with Project Team Leaders, core team members, and functional project managers. degree in the Life Sciences; advanced degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have eight or more years multi-disciplinary experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with 4-8 years direct project management in drug development and commercialization. The candidate is expected to demonstrate effective influence management skills, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, excellent oral and written communication, and be results and detail-oriented. Must be adept at building relationships across disciplines. Enjoys driving operational success of projects through teamwork and collaboration.
