Job Description:
Communication Systems-West (CSW), a division of L-3 Communications, is a leader in defense electronics for strategic and tactical military operations. We provide high-performance data link systems to transfer information to and from aircraft, ships, satellites and ground stations throughout the world. Our data links feature real-time relay of information for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes. We are currently seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to be a part of our Systems Communications & Analysis team working on cutting edge products in a high energy environment. Competencies: This Senior Staff Engineer will provide technical leadership and expertise in the area of communications systems for DoD programs and joint research programs with organizations such as DARPA and other research labs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: proposal support, requirements analysis and management, design synthesis, documentation including generation of Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications, project planning, technical project management, subcontract control, and risk management.
