If you are interested in being considered for employment with a Best in Class Pharmaceutical company, please review the following opportunity:API Operations Research Advisor You will be responsible for information and materials deliverables for pilot plant projects across multiple phases of development. Laboratory activities are focused on ensuring development of cost effective, safe and environmentally responsible chemical processes which reliably afford high quality product at pilot scale. Pilot plant activities are focused on demonstration of laboratory technology and subsequent integration of pilot-scale information into ongoing development programs. You will serve on a multidisciplinary team for the development of chemical processes, and be responsible for the training and mentorship of pilot plant engineers.KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES: Develop and implement new chemical processes: Provides input into the design of phase-appropriate laboratory experimentation in support of both route selection and process definition objectives; provides technical guidance in the implementation of new chemical processes in pilot plant equipment. Key areas of expertise include reaction kinetics, separations, heat transfer, mixing, crystallization, filtration and drying, particle size reduction, data acquisition and control, equipment selection. Provide leadership within team: Serves as a member of multidisciplinary product development teams responsible for the commercial scale development of new bulk chemical processes; directs the activities and development of four or more junior staff members.
