Job Description:
Responsibilities include inspects capital improvement construction projects, including private development agreements and public infrastructure improvements to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. The Senior Inspector makes daily reports of job site conditions and activities, and calculates quantities for payment. The Inspector coordinates with the Project Manager and Contractors on schedule, quantities, conformance to plans and specifications, and changes in scope or conditions. Requires an Associates degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering Technology with over four years experience, in a directly related field such as inspection of pavements, utilities, heavy construction, or environmental conformance. Experience with NPDES Phase II regulations preferred. Must have or be able to obtain CEPSCI certification within six months. Must have knowledge of roadway, design and construction.
