Qualifications * Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance or a Certified Public Accountant. * Ten years experience in the Accounting /Finance role. * Management level organizational and growth planning experience. * Proficiency level in MS Word, MS Excel and an accounting software package. * Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Protrax accounting software preferred. * Accounting and Finance experience within the architectural and/or engineering industry preferred. Responsibilities * Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Financial Operating Plan that supports the Strategic Plan. * Manages accounting department staff and is responsible for the general accounting, payroll, cost accounting, financial statements and reports, provisions for taxes, purchasing, and accounting and property records. * Builds the financial operating budget and works closely with other department managers to pull together the firm-wide budget for implementation and tracking; provides adequate supporting financial data and appropriate recommendations. * Assures the communication, understanding, and adherence to financial operating policies and practices. * Develops anticipated cash flow projections, policies, and procedures for frequent review and maintenance of cash requirements.
