Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Works in coordination with the Director to develop the creative aspect of the brand strategy and position. This includes all aspects of the visual and written marketing. - Provides leadership to the creative and communication team to ensure adherence to brand strategy and positioning. Interviews, hires, trains, motivates, coaches, develops, empowers staff, disciplines and terminates, with Human Resources approval as necessary. Supervises staff in a manner that is consistent with out organizational culture, which is based on four values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement and on open communication. Actively seeks development opportunities for team members. Promotes a friendly environment, good morale and cooperation among team members. Develops and delivers performance reviews on time. Addresses performance problems in a timely manner. - Participates in the company wide promotional programs and catalogs productions. - Develops creative and communication style and ensures execution in all space ad, card deck, brochures, trade show graphics and catalog activities. - Reviews and approves all creative for ads and pages . - Leads the development of creative concepts . - Leads the communication team in all marketing messages. - Leads the styling and photo direction of all photography. - Executes advance creative changes within page production. - Performs other functions as assigned. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in graphic arts/advertising or equivalent related work experience is required. - 5-7 years of experience with 3 years of managing a creative team is required. - Experience in catalog and electronic media a plus. - Must possess leadership skills to direct a small creative and communication team to meet department and organizations goals.
