Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated, intelligent and responsible accounting/audit talent to join our consulting team in our Davenport or Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. As a Manager within the practice, you will have the opportunity to use your talent to provide value added business advisory services to a variety of clientele in the manufacturing, healthcare, construction, professional services and banking industries. Services may include risk management consulting; financial projections, modeling and budgeting; temporary financial staffing assignments; business process improvements related to finance and accounting practices; profitability and contribution analysis studies; manufacturing cost accounting and analysis; and procedure documentation. Successful candidates will possess the following: *Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred. *Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an accounting manager, audit manager, financial manager, project manager or business analyst. Public accounting experience would be helpful. *Strong financial and business acumen. *Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have well developed relationship skills plus the ability to facilitate interviews and meetings with clients. *Excellent project management, organization, prioritization, problem solving and follow-up skills. *An ability to persist/persevere in new situations; must be a self-starter with a desire to grow and develop new capabilities. *Must be a team player yet have the ability to work independently. *Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis in Word and Excel. *Ability to travel potentially 25% of the time within our Economic Unit (Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado).
