Key Requirements: U.S. Citizen Major Duties:As Chief of the Northern Projects Office, Vidalia Area Office, incumbent serves as project engineer responsible for contract administration and construction management functions associated with construction work performed by contract or hired labor in the geographical area of the Northern Projects Office. The construction program includes a large-scale channel stabilization construction and maintenance program covering the full reach of the Mississippi River within the limits of the Vicksburg District and a variety of civil works construction projects and a limited number of military construction projects throughout assigned geographical area. Also plans, coordinates and administers A-E contracts for surveying and construction inspection services as required.
