Job Description:
Manages personnel and resources directly involved with the data warehouse, including architect, data modelers, and ETL developers2. Hires and manages data warehouse personnel3. Works with the Director in the prioritization of projects4. Coordinates with various business and technical groups whose support is needed to build or deploy data warehouse projects5. Manages and leads the implementation of data warehouse projects as required6. Technical hands-on work as needed7. Prioritizes requirements, manages expectations8. Scopes projects and manages scope changes, based on input from management, operations, finance, and account managers9. Works with project managers to develop plans, schedules, schedule resources, and monitor progress10. Project tracking and staffing issue prioritization, and tracking to resolution11. Risk management, and tracking to mitigation12. Participates in Enterprise Information deployment decisions13. Mentors junior level staff14. Communicates progress to upper management and user community15. Establishes standards for data warehouse technology, as well as design, development, implementation and maintenance processes16. Coordinates activities with Decision Support Manager (front room presentation layer and education) 1. BA/BS in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field; Masters degree preferred2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, 6+ years experience in data warehouse/decision support architecture implementations3. Experience managing data warehouse projects4.
