Job Description:
The Oracle Project Manager will be responsible for Developing and maintaining the overall project approach and work plan, managing project goals, objectives, scope and budget, perform risk analysis and strategic planning. The Project Manager will also perform strategic planning with the project sponsor, perform or provide feedback for consultant's performance appraisals, set the project direction and oversee day-to-day operations. They will also manage all project resources, coordinate project effort with other business units, report overall project status to upper management, communicate status and issues to G&R Management and define and report on the project's measures of success.Qualifications: The Oracle Project Manager will have a minimum of three full life cycle Oracle Application implementation projects and a minimum of two full life cycle Oracle Application upgrade projects In-depth knowledge of Oracle AIM (Application Implementation Methodology) and associated deliverables and be a mastery of Microsoft Project project management software. Must have subject matter experience in either/and/or Oracle Financials; Oracle HR/Payroll; Oracle Supply Chain, Oracle CRM. General knowledge of Oracle Technology Stack and interdependencies on implementation/upgrades - DBMS; Portal Framework; 9iAS Application Server; single-node/multi-node; patching strategies; instance creation/cloning and management. Ability to work with project team, functional process owners, C-Level project sponsors...all levels. Strong Problems solving, issues escalation/resolution skills/experience is a must as well as strong written skills for reporting progress (i.e. cost/budget spreadsheets; written status reporting; PowerPoint summaries).
