This person will also work with Data Architecture team to ensure that enhancements and fixes are delivered on time and accurately reflect business requirements. Responsibilities/Tasks:o Become the business owner and subject matter expert for the Data Warehouse and the user interface applications (MicroStrategy)o Develop business requirements and specifications for new initiatives by identifying, researching and analyzing business and client needs o Manage and participate in Data Warehouse product development from conception thru implementationo Manage report development projects from the Data Warehouseo Recognize business needs; recommend, anticipate change, and understand organizational implications of changeo Communicate professionally and effectively to our users, management, and other departmentso Investigate creative alternatives to satisfy business requirements, provide recommendations to management regarding cost/benefit and increased efficiency aspects of planned changes Requirements:o 5 years Data warehousing / Business Intelligence experience o Understanding of relational data models, databases, Data Warehouses and related concepts o Experience writing detailed business/functional/technical specification documentso Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing data warehouse requirementso Experience with Oracle, Informatica ETL Tool and MicroStrategyo Strong project management skills o 5 years of Business Analytics experienceo Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, analytical techniques or related field preferredo Ability to multi-task and prioritize worko Proficiency with SQLo Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitieso Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, business owners and IT staff throughout the companyo.
