Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Manager, Technical Support to join us in our New York City office.Responsibilities:- Help define business problems/opportunities and identify alternatives to apply information systems and technology solutions- Plan, implement, and support information systems and office technology (voice/data/video)- Lead the evaluation, testing and installation of systems, services and technologies, which can include prototyping hardware, software and services, testing alternative offerings and designs- Provide second level support for the National Support Center for areas where the hands-on intervention is required- Troubleshoot Wide and Local Area Networks including workstation access, applications software and functional server support, using knowledge of network operating systems or notifying the appropriate support organization- Manage the resources involved with day-to-day support of the end users and infrastructure technologyQualifications:- Eight years of information systems experience in support of office technology including voice/data/video communications, office technologies, application and services integration- Four years of people and project management experience- Solid technical expertise in many areas of networking (LAN, WAN, servers, routers, hubs, gateways, video)- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college/university or a related field and/or an equivalent level of work experience-
