Sales Strategy and Analytics team resides within Sales and Service and is responsible for supporting the Retail Partner Sales Organization. As a Sr. Manager of the Sales Strategy and Analytics team you will be a financial and strategic advisor to one of the regional sales Vice Presidents. Through frequent interaction, the Sr. Manager provides decision support, analysis and recommendations to the regional leadership to help them improve their operation. YOUR ROLE This role favors the extremely analytical (i.e. like to roll up their sleeves with data, spreadsheets, and models) who thrive on the challenges inherent in dissecting complex problems and delivering clear recommendations to improve results. The Senior Manager, of Sales Strategy and Analytics interacts with senior leaders across the company and so must also be able to communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner. The Senior Manager has to be confident and be able to influence senior leaders with fact based analysis. The role also requires creativity and strategic thinking to be successful. SKILL SETS The position requires a special balance of both analytical and communication skills. You need the ability to get the information you need from other employees, and disparate data sources, so you can meet your deadlines. At the same time, you need to feel comfortable building Excel models and finding and proving the counter-intuitive insights that shape business decisions.
