Job Description:


A postdoctoral position is open for an NIH-funded project at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. The project involves using structural and functional MRI to study the effects of botulinum toxin treatment on CNS abnormalities in cervical dystonia and writer’s cramp. The position is available beginning July 1, 2008 and can last for up to three years. The candidate must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D., preferably in a neuroscience/neurology-related field. It is important that the candidate be well-versed in experimental design, and have technical expertise in a discipline with relevance to neuroimaging (e.g., programming, statistical analysis, or electrophysiology,). We are especially interested in individuals with a background in brain control of posture. A background in brain imaging is preferred, although not required.
