Job Description:
Develop and test product concepts that fit into global and regional markets. Conduct research to characterize and assess physiological and biochemical attributes of herbicide tolerant traits in various crops. Evaluate their utility in comparison to traditional weed management options. Conduct research to understand, and provide solutions to, chemical activity barriers, including plant, cultural, formulation, and edaphic factors. Design and conduct all experiments such that the attributes of conventional and transgenic technologies are captured for intellectual property procurement and publication. Qualifications The position requires a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related discipline with knowledge and/or experience in weed science.
