The project includes some duties regarding teaching and arrangements of seminars and workshops. Applications from scholars in the fields of Theology, Philosophy of Religion and History of ideas are welcome. Application must be accompanied by a preliminary project plan which will form part of the employment contract for the period of appointment. The Gunnerus Library together with the Faculty of Arts and the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters will constitute an advisory board for the project period. The skill to manage English, German and one Scandinavian language is important and some basic knowledge of elementary Latin is required.
