The Lake Oswego, OR Branch Claim Office for CNA Insurance has an immediate opening for a Medical Case Manager. Individual will work out of the Lake Oswego Office, handling primarily California and Oregon telephonic and some local field case management files. Case Manager will be for P&C (Workers Compensation mainly) and other specialty lines, including the Defense Base Act. Individual will apply standard principles of case management as they apply to claimants and assessment of claims assuring effective and efficient service delivery.Job Responsibilities:1. Gathers and coordinates medical evidence for evaluation of functionality and/or disability and makes assessments on restrictions and limitations.2. May perform functionality assessments.3. Assesses appropriateness of restrictions and limitations.4. Consults with and shares in liability decision with other case management team members.5. Works with medical and other providers to ensure appropriate treatment and return to work.6. Facilitates job modifications when appropriate and educates involved parties regarding claims process and functionality as it relates to job requirements.
