Job Description:
You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and implementing complex programs. You will develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards. Develop applications for use in a multi-platform environment. Enhance existing systems; participate in client walkthroughs and technical design reviews; aid in systems development planning and monitoring; and participate in design reviews and peer code walkthroughs. Provide client and application support. Strong communication skills both verbal and written required. Bachelor¡¦s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Job Requirements:
MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks a Web Developer RS6817 with a minimum of 3+ years experience in web application design, development and/or installation. Working knowledge of relevant technology, tools and middleware including Apache, J2EE, Java, CSS, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript and SQL is critical. Must have experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size and complexity are comparable. Must also have knowledge of current Enterprise Content Management and web technologies, tools, applications and vendors. Knowledge of web development techniques and experience with web content management systems required. Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts also required. Hands-on experience managing systems development in new and current computing architectures and environments preferred. Experience with Day Communique or similar web content management system also preferred.
