Job Description:
Responsibilities *Supervise the daily activities in assigned functional areas in an ISO 7 class clean room & work with team to cultivate a winning manufacturing attitude. This includes direct supervision, cross training, skill building and motivating direct reports. *Meet production delivery commitments by ensuring schedule or escalation of issues. *Provide daily verbal and/or written communication of productivity, quality, and delivery. Implement operating procedures, and ensure that proper record keeping is maintained *Work closely with other managers to share resources, drive consistent practices & ensure production goals are met *Ensure training & adherence to policies & EHS guidelines among employees *Track & report metrics in functional area to include labor utilization/productivity, order changes, inventory accuracy, throughput, capacity & customer complaints. *Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards *Maintain & implement sound quality processes & ensure proper documentation *Responsible for ensuring transactions are completed timely & accurately in the manufacturing Oracle system *Participate in the development and implementation of strategies and local policies to improve product manufacturability, work flow, change, and the skill growth of a dynamic and flexible team. *Participate and interviewing, hiring, training, personal development, and performance evaluation of Team members. *Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D and other cross-functional groups to ensure a smooth transition of new products and product/process improvements into manufacturing.
