Job Description:
Responsible for driving successful results in the goals and objectives set for the site and the Targets manufacturing plant, ensuring department procedures, quality systems, and records to ensure site ISO and QS requirements are administered effectively. Drive continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma processes in Targets manufacturing to achieve productivity improvements and cost savings. Position is a member of the Spokane site leadership team. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for daily implementation of production plan. Drives effective employee and supervisor development, employee rewards and recognition, performance management, employee selection, and teamwork development throughout the Targets manufacturing plant and across the site. Accountable for creating a culture that delivers an injury free work place and zero environmental issues. Coordinates and prioritizes a wide range of process improvement, product/process measurements and capital projects. Exhibit positive leadership traits with ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization. Responsible for meeting group monthly, quarterly and annual goals & objectives for OTD, Quality, HSE, inventory. Responsible to generate cost reduction and continuous improvement (i.e. Ideas +) projects to maintain annual improvement in productivity. Drives continuous improvement such as reductions in process variation and cycle times.
