Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the efficient operation, planning, directing and supervising of the activities in the Mechanical Maintenance Department and Electrical Maintenance Department of the Hot Mills and/ or Hot Dip Galvanizing Line Department; supervises Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Area Managers, Supervisors, and UAW represented skilled trades personnel in planned and preventive maintenance activities; manages budget, makes recommendations for new equipment, manages maintenance personnel. To be considered for this position you must have Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering ; Five to seven years progressively responsible supervisory experience in a medium to large sized manufacturing setting. Experience in a Unionized setting. Prior project management or planning experience; steel industry experience is required; Must be willing to work off shifts and weekends, as necessary.
