Job Description:
Duties include, but arent limited to: Directs employees responsible for DIRECTVs owned and operated call center operations by providing leadership, vision and direction that support the company's business objectives and requirements. Interacts regularly with executive team and individual departments to ensure that the Customer Care operational priorities are aligned with the company direction. Balances short-term, mid-term and long-term strategic objectives to maximize Customer Care performance on agreed upon metrics. Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures. Formulates strategy/vision for all defined areas of responsibilities. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention. Makes budgetary decisions that impact operations financial results. Directs development and implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives that drive process improvements while maintaining operational effectiveness and efficiencies and contributes to profitability. Other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree in business management, business administration or related discipline; Masters degree in business preferred; and twelve plus (12+) years of progressive broad-based customer care operations leadership experience that includes a strong background in inbound sales, measurements and reporting, quality processes, consumer customer service and contract administration; eight plus (8+) years supervisory/management experience; and five plus (5+) years experience in the cable/satellite industry desired.
