Job Description:
A bachelor\'s degree in the natural or physical sciences or related technical field; or an associate degree in the natural or physical sciences or related technical field and two years of environmental experience; or high school diploma and four years of environmental experience. Must possess valid South Carolina\'s drivers license or be able to obtain one. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communications skills, communicate clearly and concisely in both an oral and written manner, and function as a team member. The ability to operate State owned vehicles, to conduct field inspections and make visual observations of facilities, samples, plans, specifications, reports, waterbodies, etc. is required. Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor\'s degree in natural or environmental sciences, public health, or related technical field is preferred. Knowledge of environmental management practices, hydrology, ecology, water chemistry, limnology and advanced mathematics and statistics are preferred attributes.
