They are immediately seeking an Environmental Engineer. They have offices in Woodland Hills, Costa Mesa, Brea, and San Diego so the y are open to locations. The opening is for any of these locations. RESPONSIBILITIES The Company is seeking a motivated and accomplished self-starter and effective team player with project management capabilities. This position will involve a diversity of assignments in a growing practice area. Position requires 3 to 5 years of environmental process engineering experience supporting projects involving site investigations, remediation, regulatory compliance and environmental permitting for groundwater, soil, soil vapor, air and/or waste. Principal responsibilities will include some or all of the following: management of site investigation/remediation including oversight of operations and maintenance of remediation equipment/installations, remedial system optimization, facility compliance evaluations, emissions calculations, regulatory applicability reviews (review/interpretation of environmental regulations), engaging staff in field data collection and interpretation, permit preparation, and completion of monitoring reports. Experience with permit strategy design (strategic avoidance), management of subcontractors, scheduling, and agency negotiations a significant plus.
