Job Description:
Provide leadership and direction regarding EHS, Medical, and Security to all Field Services, Administrative, Engineering & Product Sales teams across a global P&L. *Integrate EHS into all component strategies, activities and decision making from initial Customer Inquiry through order Execution. *Manage DOT/IATA-HMT concerns for each functional team and location in accordance with GE Energy and Corporate programs. *Drive continuous improvement and operationalization of EHS programs, procedures and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GE Best Practices, productivity enhancement and add value for our customers. *Participate in Program Reviews and EHS assessments. *Champion the Kansas City headquarters safety programs and individual business segment employee Safety Committees. Signature: ~CB~ Qualifications *Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or Engineering. *Minimum 5 years experience as safety professional in an industrial or field services role. *Minimum of 5 years of working knowledge of OSHA's Construction and General Industry standards, MSHA contractor programs, and other regulatory standards (i.e. ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, NEC).
