Job Description:
Primarily managing / implementing all key programs / initiatives in terms of EHS and Security. * Vigorously lead / drive EHS operation and accountability to all employees. * Must execute individual contributor activities as required. * Aggressively utilize data, input and evaluations to prevent injuries. * Conduct & manage health & safety training of site personnel. * Assist operations personnel in developing a knowledge base for site compliance. * Be a leader in driving EHS Culture Change at the site. * Coordinate with all levels of GE (Professionals & Craft) to determine EHS solutions for business issues on a day-to-day basis. * Maintain computerized EHS metrics. * Work on EHS digitization efforts either independently or as part of a team. Qualifications * B.S. Degree in a technical or safety field. * Minimum of of 3 years EHS experience. Eligibility Requirements: * Requires 10 - 20% travel. Desired * Broad knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements, including GE's EHS Processes. * Six Sigma Greenbelt certified (GE Employees only).
