Job Description:
Sell international freight services to existing clients in an assigned territory * Responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying key account personnel and decision makers, communicating effectively with clients and internal team members, and focus on immediate and long-term business opportunities with the ability to close sales and secure business. In addition to identifying problems, develop and present solutions and options to satisfy customers' needs. * Identify market trends, evaluate competitive information, customer requirements and report solutions to Sr. Management staff. * Build and manage a territory plan * Timely response to client RFI/RFPs * Conduct thorough needs assessment of prospects import and export requirements * Negotiate, close and monitor all new client business * Teamwork - Must work professionally and effectively with key sales and operations staff in order to achieve target revenue goals. Work with marketing, operations and other departments to determine appropriate pricing and/or solutions * Maintain Professional and Technical Knowledge by staying current with important industry issues and networking with customers and industry contacts
