Job Description:
Reflections Dance Studio is seeking a full time or part time dance instructor to teach and demonstrate proper dance technique and etiquette in Hip Hop and Jazz disciplines to ages 6 years and up. Experience in Choregraphy is required to prepare students of all ages and abilties for competitions and performances. Ability to teach a variety of other dance disciplines would be an asset. Position is offered for the September 2008 dance season with the abiltiy to extend contract for future seasons. Competitive wages are negoiated based on experience and certification.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate must be personable, have good organizational skills and have past teaching experience with references. Experience in a variety of dance disciplines would be an asset. Certification from a University/College degree would be an asset or related dance teacher traning. Choreography experience is required to prepare students of all ages and abilities for competitions and performances. References required upon interview.
