Duties University of Baltimore School of Law seeks applications for the position of Director of the Law Career Development Office. The Director reports directly to the Dean of the Law School. Primary responsibilities include: direct supervision of all Law Career Development Office (LCDO) staff; directing the law school's On Campus Interview Program; overseeing creation and implementation of all educational and professional programs, workshops, and seminars; aggressive development and maintenance of effective relationships with legal employers and recruiters; supervision of judicial clerkship application process; preparing statistical and other reports for internal and external constituencies; performing career development and job search counseling for students and alumni; maintaining an effective mock interview program; strategic and budgetary planning development; representing the LCDO in a positive manner to both internal and external audiences; registering for and advertising of all career and job fairs for which the law school's students are eligible; overseeing grant, fellowship and external interview programs; primary contact with LCDO's software vendors; and other duties as assigned.
