Work Performed: Director of Peer Tutoring Services: Teach basic level tutor certification classes for all subject areas; coordinate intermediate/advanced tutor certification classes for all subjects; teach intermediate/advanced tutor certification classes within field of study; personnel management, including hiring, scheduling, evaluation of all peer tutors; assess success of peer tutoring program and establish goals for improvement; maintain College Reading and Learning Association certification of program; oversee advertising and public relations for program. Director of Math and Writing Center: Teach intermediate/advanced tutor certification classes for writing; serve as the Writing Center Liaison to English faculty; Establish and implement policies and procedures for all peer coaching services for the Center; direct all operations and oversee budget; work directly with Math Center faculty liaison; serve as resource to other faculty on an as needed basis. Oversight of ADA Services at Newman University: Provide appropriate advising and support for students with disabilities; maintain accurate, complete documentation of ADA files; coordinate with faculty accommodations for ADA documented students; cooperate with deans and faculty on ADA training and advising; stay abreast of current law in disability field to insure university compliance with ADA regulations; maintain professional relationships in disability field including Kansas AHEAD and other professional associations; evaluate the quality of services provided to students.
