Job Description:
Qualifications and/or Experience: Minimum four years of experience in property maintenance required Experience in all trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, landscaping, and snow removal is required. Must be self-motivated and able to troubleshoot basic repairs. Must be a team player and be able to work well with other team members. Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug test and must have a clean driving record. Maintenance Technician-Bridgeport Primary responsibility is to perform maintenance functions in the community including apartments, residential areas, and grounds. Responsibilities also include ability to respond to on-call emergencies, correctly complete job orders, complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills as measured by accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work, adhere to company policies and procedures, work cooperatively and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times when in contact with residents, staff, sub/contractors, and the general public.
