Full-time Shift: Hours: Job Details: Under the direction of the dentist and/or dental resident, assists in chair side and operating room pediatric dental procedures. Prepares patient, dental materials and instruments for dental procedures. Maintains records and clinical equipment. Responsible for directing the activities of the patient care delivery team. Provides accountability for planning, managing and evaluating Dental Assistants to ensure continuity of care is maintained for ChildrensNationalMedicalCenterin accordance with accepted national standards and administrative policies. Education & Training Required:Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program, HS Diplom a or GED required Experience Required:Five years of related experience. One- two years Supervisory experience required. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
