Job Description:
On-site Pharmacy Manager will supervise the day to day operations of the pharmacy. They will be responsible for maintaining the pharmacy in good standing with all federal and state agencies and laws. They will be responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of all support personnel including staff pharmacists and technicians. They will monitor, and counsel pharmacy employees on issues regarding quality, productivity, and overall work performance. Responsible for determining staffing requirements for the pharmacy. Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Caremark\'s policy and procedures and all applicable laws. Oversees the pharmacy functions of data entry, dispensing, therapeutic intervention, and doctor phone calls.Responsible for the operating budget of the pharmacy. Works with the Director to ensure understanding and adherence to the budget process. Responsible for inventory management, gross profit, generic dispensing rate, generic substitution rate, and salary percent. Provides excellent customer service and sets the standard of patient care for the pharmacy team. Ensures a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Candidate must have at least 5 years of successful pharmacy management experience. Appropriate pharmacy license required. Education Bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy or Pharm D required. Experience Retail management and clinical experience preferred and at least 3-5 years of successful pharmacy management experience.
