Job Description:
The Systems Validation and Testing Manager serves in a leadership role within the SVT department providing daily oversight, mentorship and direction to test analysts from a task, project, development and training perspective. The position has both managerial and technical leadership responsibilities. Managerial leadership responsibilities include direct staff supervision, validation and compliance consulting, and project delivery responsibilities. Technical leadership responsibilities revolve around the provision of advanced, technical testing domain knowledge and practices such as integration of SLC toolsets and functional testing automation. The Manager must be highly competent in and able to manage validation and testing aspects of in-house development, acquired, configured and composite, complex application integration projects with little direct supervision. Qualifications - BS Degree in Information Technology or related field- 7 years of applications software testing or computer systems validation- 2 years working in a lead or supervisory capacity - Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to target audience - Experience in defect tracking tools and test metrics reporting - Experience with managing offshore test teams- Strong knowledge of testing tools (Quality Center, QTP, Loadrunner) - Experience working within a regulated environment or with a Clinical Laboratory environment highly desirable.- Must possess the technical & problem solving skills to perform the job requirements
