Seeking highly motivated, team player to lead the maintenance and continual development of a pharmacy network strategy. The Network Director will work with VP, PDL and Network Development, to construct and implement strategies regarding MAC and contract development, including the creation of multiple networks and the preservation of consumer access. The Network Director will also develop new initiatives in network strategy and expand on existing capabilities, including the development of pharmacy performance programs and the integration of pharmacy with health plan benefit structures. This individual will work with multiple internal and external stake-holders to accomplish the above, including supporting pharmacy benefit services providers. Responsibilities · Assess and respond to needs for network development, including meeting customer needs and anticipating market trends and the competitive environment. · Development of strong relationships with key pharmacy chains and related industry partners. · Direct and integrate pharmacy programs into network strategy. · Lead the development of supporting benefit and consumer engagement strategies to support the network. · Create strategies at a book of business level as well as for specific markets or customers as needed. · Work with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs, systems development requirements and subsequently to create messaging around strategies. · Work with external Pharmacy Benefit Service providers to implement contracting strategies.
