Time in grade U.S. Citizenship Major Duties: The candidate will provide leadership, oversight and scientific management to one or more of the OTIR cancer proteomics technology research projects within the Clinical Proteomic Technologies for Cancer initiative (CPTC). Serves as a technical resource and monitor of cancer proteomics technology research projects and works in matrix areas of advanced proteomics technologies applicable to the detection, treatment and prevention of cancer. Implements cancer proteomics technology initiatives managed across divisions and develops implementation plans for proteomics areas including drafting solicitations, taking concepts through the approval process of the Institute, participating in the recruitment of relevant project staff in taking on new areas for cancer proteomics technology support, or managing awards of resulting programs. Evaluates and analyzes the effectiveness of short and long-term cancer proteomics technology research projects in meeting established goals and objectives; develops recommendations for dealing with project issues and implements the best option.
