Job Description:
The position reports to the Vice President of Marketing - Creative and Production. Direct and manage the tab design and production process Develop physical / spatial retail environments Oversee the design of print advertising and promotions Develop in-store marketing collateral Train, lead, and motivate a team of designers and production artists Interpret communication strategies into creative approaches and treatments Fully understand resources and techniques of advertising agencies Comprehend environmental design and promotions for retail industry Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast paced environment while prioritizing multiple projects Experience: Strong conceptual thinking (samples required) Leadership and managerial proficiencies with a proven track record 5 - 10 years of corporate retail experience 3 - 5 years of advertising agency experience 3-D design, displays, and theatre sets (a plus) Working knowledge and proficiency in latest versions of Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign Budgeting and industry related pay scale management Minimum Education: B.S. in Communication Design DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is an authentic full-line sporting goods retailer offering a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel, and footwear in a specialty store environment.
